About the Author

Yenshio / Terrence Brown

Yenshio is the pen name of Terrence Brown — author, IT consultant, and student at Berkeley College NYC. He writes in the space where science fiction meets fantasy and both refuse to behave: worlds that run on ancient compacts and modern institutions, on immortality and bureaucracy, on the question of what it actually costs to try to protect something for more than two thousand years.

The Eden Philanthropic Foundation Series is his primary creative project — an evolving mythology built around two immortal guardians, the empire they constructed, and the darkness that has always known where the light was coming from. It began as a single story and expanded, as these things do, into a world.

He is a self-published author working through Amazon KDP, which means the EPF Verse is built and controlled on his own terms — the way it should be when the world in question is this specific, this layered, and this personal.

The Series

The EPF Verse currently comprises five published works: A Garden Lost, The Gaia Project, and The Host, Part 1 as the mainline trilogy so far, alongside the prequel Eva and Ado: The Beginning and the anthology The Travelers, with The Host, Part 2 currently in active development. The world is deep enough to hold decades of stories, and that is, as Ado might say, entirely intentional.

On Writing the EPF Verse

The series was built from the inside out — characters first, world second, plot emerging from the collision of the two. Eva and Ado began as a single scene and refused to leave. Every major character in the series arrived with their own weight, their own specific way of speaking, their own history that had to be honored rather than bent to serve plot convenience.

The result is a world that rewards close reading and punishes impatience — not because it is deliberately obscure, but because it was built by someone who believes that the most important things are never said in a single line.
